What is Sextech School?

Sextech School was founded by sextech expert Bryony Cole, for the next generation of sextech founders, leaders, and careerists to make their mark on the industry. The school allows students to develop and incubate product ideas, turn their passions into processes, and make meaningful connections with industry leaders. Students are guided through the school by Byrony and a team of pioneering founders and key industry influencers — from lawmakers to investors — who have brought the likes of Unbound, MysteryVibe, and Awkward Essentials to market.

Each week a sextech school founder with expertise in the topic will host a live, interactive teaching session where you can speak directly with them about their learnings and expertise.

Who are the guest speakers?

Previous speakers include Billie Quinlan, CEO and co-founder of Ferly; Frances Tang, founder of Awkward Essentials; Lucy Wark, founder of Normal; Cathy Keen, events manager at Feeld, Abigail Milnar, head of sales at Make Love Not Porn; Andrew Gurza, founder of Bump’n, and Polly Rodriguez, CEO and co-founder of Unbound.

What have our alumni achieved?

Our past students have gone on to do many amazing things, including launching e-commerce stores, developing prototype apps, leading industry events, winning grants, and securing funding.

Glenise Kinard-Moore, CEO and founder of SkiiMoo Tech
Glenise joined Sextech School at the beginning of her sextech journey when she had been building her prototype for a year and regularly thinking she may have been insane for trying to do so! Propelled forward by the community of Sextech School, Glenise and Skiimoo Tech have since launched their premier product, the VDOM. The VDOM is a wearable device that can change from flaccid to erect through the swipe of the app and empowers users in the queer community, people experiencing erectile dysfunction, and folks living with disabilities. After an extremely successful launch and multiple sellouts, Glenise and the Skiimoo team are closing a healthy funding round and were recently named finalists in the Black Ambition Prize competition!

DJ Rusheed, CEO and founder of Tingll
DJ was a student in our August 2021 cohort and came to the cohort to develop his e-commerce marketplace, tingll.com. Since leaving Sextech School and beyond, DJ has transformed Tingll into a global B2B and B2C online marketplace that transforms the customer and vendor journey for sexual wellness products and solutions within web2 and web3 applications. He has also become a hotly sought-after alumni mentor and will be again available for mentorship in our upcoming cohort.

Jingjin Liu, CEO and founder of ZaZaZu
As the founder of ZaZaZu, the first sexual wellness hub in Asia, Jingjin joined Sextech School to scale her hub by synchronizing education, product curation, and community building to empower women sexually. Since Sextech School, Jingjin has grown and expanded ZaZaZu to huge new heights, has become an angel investor, and was named one of Linkedin’s Top Voices in 2022 for her cutting commentary on navigating life as a female founder, especially one working in the sexuality space.

Elizabeth Dell, founder of Amorus
When the pandemic stopped her former life as a film producer in its tracks and shut off next to all in-person connection, Elizabeth Dell realized that there were very few tech options to help people stay intimately connected when apart. Enter her sexual communication app, Amoros. Elizabeth brought Amoros to Sextech School in its early days, where she upskilled in the infrastructural components required to launch and was significantly pushed forward by the community. Thanks to this support and guidance, Amoros has since been built in full, successfully launched, and is now available on iOS and Android in most territories.
